The first tip I must give you is to check several sportsbooks for the best odds. This way, you can get the most value for your CS:GO bets. Why bet on a 1.85 money line if another bookie has the exact same option at 1.9? It does not make any sense! With a little bit of research, you can win more money/skins effortlessly!

I don’t know about you, but I’ll take 25% of my wager back every week for a little bit of research. This one simple tip will make an immediate impact on your profit levels with just a little bit of effort required.
The next tip I have for you is again very simple. Use HLTV.org to check a team’s stats on every map. Through checking these statistics, you can make an educated guess on the result of the match. I usually check the team’s record on the maps they are playing on first up. Many squads are strong on one or two maps, decent on two or three, and cannot play one or two maps at all.
A perfect example is a team Natus Vincere, aka NAVI. This crew is often considered one of the best in the world, but they are terrible on Cobble. They got absolutely rekt by Virtus.Pro on this map, but still won the series. They have also been upset by many weaker guys on Cobble. By doing some simple research, and looking at their recent history on the map, I was able to avoid all these losses by simply not betting on NAVI on Cobblestone. While this is an extreme example, doing this simple task will boost your chances to win your CS:GO bet.
After you have done those things, look at both teams recent matches. Recent form is super important in Counter-Strike. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen people been burned by good squads in bad form. A perfect example of this would be Astralis. They have been on a tear recently, and the oddsmakers are still under valuing them.
I have made a ton of money off of them in the recent tourneys because of how undervalued they are. By looking at the recent form of teams, you can understand how good they currently are, and what is likely to happen in the match. Recent games is another important statistic to calculate for the best CS:GO betting.
Another tip I have for you is to never bet on a heavy favorite. If the odds are lower than 1.4, the risk of losing is probably greater than the measly reward you would earn. In matches where there is a heavy favorite, I usually wager on the round spread on the underdog. Remembering that heavy favorites are not good bets is an important tip in mind, as you can lose it all just trying to win a small amount by betting on them. Because of eSports volatility, you never know what can happen in any given match.
Remember to always check the recent history between the two teams that are playing. This can often give you an edge, because if one squad is in a blowout a few days/weeks ago, there is no reason they won’t win again. I will caution you to not put too much value in results that are over two months old or with different crew members because a lot has changed since then. However, if the two teams have met recently, looking at the result can be a big clue to what will happen in the match.
My second to last piece of CS:GO betting advice is to never wager on a match in which your favorite team is playing. You will end up placing money on them even if they are not the smart bet. Trust me, I have learned this from experience. Just watch those matches for fun, or place extremely small amounts on them. You will not make a rational choice if you are biased towards one crew.
However, there is one big exception to this. I know a few friends who place bets on the team opposite of who they want to win. That way, if the squad they wanted to win wins, they are happy that their favorite guys won. If the crew loses, they are happy they won their bet. I personally do not like this strategy, but you might as you have something to look forward to either way.
My last advice for CS:GO bets is something that applies to all forms of gambling. Set goals and limits, so you don’t lose everything by being too greedy. I advise you set a goal that you want to earn that week. If you one hundred dollars, say your goal is to have one hundred and fifty dollars by the end of the week. Once you reach this amount, you are not allowed to go below it no matter what. This will prevent you from losing all your winnings.
You also want to set a limit so you do not lose it all. Say to yourself that you are not allowed to go under fifty dollars. If you have a bad streak, you must stop. This will prevent you from chasing your losses. This piece of advice takes a lot of self discipline, but trust me. If you follow this, you will be much happier and make profit. You will also avoid becoming addicted to gambling.
