BetWinner’s sleek design allows you to quickly find everything you want, from sports betting to bingo and slot machines. The pleasant green tones don’t tire the eyes, even with lengthy gaming sessions.

You will find menus such as Sports, Live, Promotion, Casino, and more at the top of the page. Click on them to quickly go to the desired entertainment. There you will also find buttons for registration, payments, and site settings.

Sports and lines for sports events are located below. On the right, you see the column with the bet slip, Accumulators of the Day, and other actual offers. At the very bottom of the website, you’ll find helpful links that lead to games, different bets, rules, and a mobile version.

Complaints and Reviews

The BetWinner reviews contain both positive and negative opinions. Most likely, you may have seen a variety of complaints about BetWinner bookmaker. Players write about unfair account closure and confiscation of winnings. Others point out the safe verification and convenient gambling. Which of these is true?

Most of the complaints are about profile closures. However, it would help if you remembered here that the bookmaker’s office maintains specific rules. You will find them at the link at the bottom of the website. These rules clearly define the situations when the bookmaker closes the players’ access: multi-accounts, dishonest strategies, and violation of the site’s terms of use.

There are also reviews where they write about the non-payment of money. Customers don’t get any winnings or betting refunds. However, if you look more closely, most such appeals are successfully resolved. Money transfers can fail due to technical reasons or customer errors. The bookmaker aims to resolve the conflict amicably and bring the money back to the owners.

Features

BetWinner offers a vast number of options for sports betting fans. We recommend checking out the eSports section. This sport is new but is already gaining in popularity. There are many disciplines within eSports, which is why everyone likes it.

The bookmaker’s office offers bets on top disciplines such as CS:GO, LoL, Dota 2, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Rainbow 6, Rocket League. Also, you can stake on interesting new ones, such as eSports racing, Formula 1, FIFA, Street Fighter, NFL, and others. You can also bet on fantasy leagues.

All the matches have a widespread. You choose from dozens or hundreds of betting options: totals, first blood, win or lose, extra bets, and more.

eSports Bonus Calendar

We recommend paying attention to the unique feature, which is not available at other bookmakers. BetWinner offers daily bonuses on esports related bets. Every day you can get up to 30% cashback by fulfilling the promo conditions.

Go to the “Promotions” menu and look for the “eSports Bonus Calendar”. Here you will find a description of the daily promotions, rules, available markets, and more.

Payment Systems

BetWinner offers dozens of payment systems for residents of all countries. First and foremost, you can use bank cards and transfers. Use electronic wallets, vouchers, terminals, and mobile payments, including Skrill, Qiwi, Boku, Neteller.

There are also cryptocurrencies, a modern and secure way to conduct transactions. You can transfer funds via 30+ digital coins such as Bitcoin, NEM, Dash, Monero, Ethereum.

You’re sure to find a convenient way to make quick deposits and withdrawals.

Helpdesk

Unfortunately, the support service here isn’t the best. Employees do not always speak good English. But if you communicate in writing, the results are promising. Sometimes the online chat can delay the answers — it depends on the workload of the staff. However, it is the fastest communication option. It can take a few days to reply by email.

Mobile and apps

The mobile version is simple and easy to use. It saves traffic on your mobile, and you can place bets on your favourite sports quickly. It supports all the functions of the main website: registration, payments, market selection, settings.

The BetWinner iOS and Android apps offer convenient betting on the go. Another big plus is making fast live bets and reacting instantly to events on the field. The apps also help you avoid being blocked if your country’s regulator has banned the bookmaker’s website.

Pros

  • Huge range of betting options: 1000+ events every day!
  • Simple, pleasing design
  • Dozens of payment systems
  • Optimized for mobile devices
  • Huge flexible bonus system

Cons

  • Customer service can be slow

Hello there Counter Strike fans! I do hope that all of you are safe out there in your respective countries amid this global crisis that we are currently in right now. However, in spite of this current pandemic, Counter Strike tourneys are still alive and kicking! Instead of the teams meeting up somewhere in the world, the organizers did the next best thing, which is to host the tourneys online and split them up between regions to avoid the ping issues that the offline tourneys solve.

With this beautiful news, I hereby would like to tell you about the upcoming Blast Pro Spring Showdown! Our good friends at Blast Pro will be splitting the tourney between the EU and NA. Each of those regions will have their own prize pools. The EU will feature $182,500 in prizes while the NA region will have $142,500. Overall it’s not bad!

The event will start on June 1st and will end on the 7th of June for both regions. Aside from the cash prizes, this tournament will also award Blast Premier points, that will go towards the Blast Premier Global Championship somewhere around the end of the year. The top 3 winners from each region will also secure a spot to the upcoming Blast Pro Spring Finals sometime later in the month of June.

In this article we are going to check the tournament format, list of participants, roster changes and give our betting predictions for the BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown.

Format

There are two groups from each of the regions and they will feature a round-robin format. All of those games will follow be Best of 1 matches. What differs the EU from the NA is the number of teams that will be advancing to the playoffs. The top 4 squads in the group stages will advance to the playoffs in the EU while only three squads will be advancing in the NA.

For the EU, the squad who won their respective groups will automatically secure a Finals spot. The second-placed squad will secure a semi-final spot while the remaining two teams from each group will fight it out in the quarter-finals.

For the NA, since their roster is a little bit smaller, the group winners will automatically secure a Finals spot while the remaining two squads from each bracket will fight it out in the semi-finals. Both regions will however feature a Play-In match, which will consist of both the losers of the Finals matches. The winner of the Play-In match will join the Finals winners in their respective regional Spring Finals.

Teams

Since the tourney has been split between the two regions, the EU will feature 10 squads who will be competing in the region. The NA side will feature 8 squads. The EU teams that will be featured are Astralis, Vitality, Ence, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic, Mousesports, Dignitas, Mad Lions, Saw, and the last representative from the CIS who will be announced 2 days before the event.

For the NA region, they will feature MiBR, Furia, Gen G Esports, Chaos Esports Club, Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves, Cloud 9, and a newcomer in the scene Triumph.

Roster Changes

There are a few roster changes that will be affecting the competitors from each region. The biggest one of all will come from Astralis. They recently lost Glaive who is taking a break from the competitive scene due to health issues. He will be replaced by JUGI who used to play for North. Aside from Glaive, it has been announced earlier today that Xyp9x will also be stepping down from the active roster and taking a break. Astralis is currently looking for a few candidates to take his place, although nothing solid has yet surfaced, although it is reported that they are interested in signing Lekro from NiP.

The other EU team that will have a roster shuffle will be NiP. Lekro has been benched earlier this month and he will be replaced by Hampus from GamerLegion. There are reports however that Astralis is interested in signing Lekro to replace the position vacated by Xyp9x as well as a few more candidates.

On the American continent, there are a few teams who shook up their rosters as well. The first one is MiBR who recently signed TRK from Team One earlier this month. He will be replacing Meyern who will be benched by the Brazilian squad. This will be the first time since March that MiBR will be fielding an all Brazilian lineup again.

The second roster change would be 100 Thieves. They parted ways with their coach Kassad a month ago. They just recently signed ImAPet who used to coach EG 2 days ago as the new coach for them.

BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown Predictions

Now for the part that most of you have been waiting for. I will be basing my predictions by groups. I will be predicting which of those competitors would likely come out of their groups and advance to the playoffs. Since the competitors have been split regionally, I will be most likely doing my predictions for each region. Now to kick it off, I will be starting with the bigger scene which is the European side.

EU Group A

BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown Predictions and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown tips and previewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown advice and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown betting tips and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown betting Predictions and Preview

This one is an easy one. I already have a very good idea who the 4 competitors will be advancing to the playoffs already. It will be none other than the established teams in the scene. Sadly, it will be very hard for Saw to compete with these teams due to their experience in the CSGO scene.

However, for the first time, I will not be picking Astralis as the eventual winner of this bracket and secure a spot in the Finals. It is solely due to the reason that they have recently lost 2 of their biggest names in the team, one of which is their ingame leader in Glaive. It will be very hard for them to replace Glaive and also Xyp9x, so I will be putting Astralis in the 4th place. The most likely winner for this bracket would be the French squad Vitality, who has been tearing up the competition recently and are in form. Ence would most likely secure the semi-finals spot over NiP as the Swedes have recently experienced a lineup change as well.

Winner – Vitality

2nd – ENCE

3rd – NiP

4th – Astralis

EU Group B

BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown betting advice and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown betting and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown Predictions and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown tips and Preview

This bracket is a little bit harder to place. This is due to the CIS representative still needs to be announced, so it may skew the predictions when they solidify the roster. However, if I was to make a prediction on the CIS Cup, it will most likely be Forze or Virtus Pro who will be securing the invite anyway so I think we are all good there.

Now onwards to Group B. This is a little harder to predict since there are a couple of rosters here that have the potential to take the top. However, if I was to base it on their recent performances this year, I would have to give the winning spot to Mouse. They have been consistent this year and even last year. Fnatic and Dignitas will most likely have to fight over the second place, but it is most likely Dignitas who will be taking the spot. The lineup Dignitas is currently fielding is reminiscent of the old NiP, and that is scary! JW and his crew would likely get third along with either VP or Forze. Mad Lions is a newcomer to the scene and they will most likely get smacked around by these giants.

Winner – Mousesports

2nd – Dignitas

3rd – Fnatic

4th – CIS representative (most likely Virtus Pro or Forze)

NA Group A

BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown advice and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown bets Predictions and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown bets tips and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown bets advice and Preview

NA’s own Group of Death. There are heavyweights who are competing here. However, the clear cut winner for this bracket would be Gen G. They are some of the more exciting new team that has recently sprung up on the American scene. With members consisting of ex-C9 and ex TyLoo, they are like the Faze Clan of the American scene. Coming in close second would be the other Brazilian lineup which is Furia.

Recently, Hen1 and Kscerato have been tearing up competitions left and right so they are currently in good form. If they keep their form up, they might even be able to battle Gen G on the top spot. The third team to advance would be the other Brazilian squad, MiBR. They know how to perform under pressure and would be able to win games. Chaos would most likely lose all their round-robin games since they choke their leads from time to time.

Winner – Gen G

2nd – Furia

3rd – MiBR

NA Group B

BLAST Spring 2020 Showdown Predictions and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown tips betting and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown advice betting and PreviewBLAST Spring 2020 Showdown betting Predictions and Preview

There is one clear winner here. No one on this bracket would be able to touch EG with the way they are playing. Brehze is a monster in the global scene, and now that they are playing just the Americas region, I am definitely sure that it will be a “Brehze” for them to coast to the win. No question. Now for the second place, however, it is more of a battle between 100 Thieves and Triumph. I am already counting out Cloud 9. There is a reason people call them Choke9. Have you seen their match against Gen G a month ago where they are in the lead 12 – 2 in Train. Yup, they got steamrolled and lost 13 – 16.

So I am giving the newcomer Triumph a chance since they perform better from time to time. I mean they won the first place in the Dreamhack Masters qualifier a month ago, so I think they have a shot to at least get a spot. However, I see them beaten to the spot by 100 Thieves who have a much better experience in big tournaments like these for the second place.

Winner –EG

2nd – 100 Thieves

3rd – Triumph

cyber bet esports betsCyber Bet’s design is actually aesthetically pleasing to the eye. First things first, it breaks away from the usual color scheme that is utilized by a lot of sports and esports bookies. It is set on a pristine white background with the panel background mimicking it. The headers are set in a bright and vibrant blue. We see none of those dark colors that are commonly found in the other bookies.

Second, the design is actually user friendly. The headers are set in big bold fonts, while the panels are set in black fonts that show up beautifully against the white background.

cyber bet trust reviewThe reputation of Cyber Bet is actually positive! Not a lot of esports bookies have been getting great reviews in the past, but this one is somewhat different. A lot of people have been raving about how quickly their withdrawal process is. Be it cashing out on Neteller or Yandex or even paying out in Bitcoin.

However, due to their sterling reputation, there are a lot of impersonators or impostors who try to copy their site to be able to scam people into betting and run away with their money. This is due to their layout which is actually very easy to copy. This is actually in no-fault directly to CyberBet since they are not really the guilty party in this scenario, but I just would like to suggest for gamblers to be wary and always check the site or the URL before depositing or placing any bets.

Another bad thing about this site is that they do charge an inactive fee on your account if you have not been logging in or actively gambling in it for a few months. That can be easily resolved though. If you plan on not gambling for an extended period of time, I do suggest that you make use of their fast withdrawal times and cash out your bankroll so that you do not get charged an inactive fee. Although it still takes 120 days before they start tagging your account as inactive, which is roughly 3 months, safer is better if you ask me.

cyber bet features esports bitcoin betsThere are a lot of features that I can say regarding CyberBet. For starters, they are the exact opposite of sports bookies who offer esports betting on the side. In fact, they are primarily an esports bookie but they do have a football section where you can place your wagers in. They offer matches for most of the European leagues, even the smaller ones like the Belarus League and even the Australian A-League. Something that you cannot find in other bigger sports bookies.

Another cool thing that they offer is they are not just a betting site. They also have a healthy community section where you can catch the latest news from your favorite eSports title or eSports league. In this community section, you can find various threads such as big tournaments, team transfers and even threads of their own hosted CS:GO tournaments.

cyber bet oddsThe odds offered on the betting site are floating. The odds actually depends on the matchup between the two competitors on how they stack up. The more consistent or the stronger teams will most likely get the lower odds while the underdogs will get bigger odds. This also applies not just to their esport options, but also to their football betting section. Teams like PSG, Real Madrid, or Barcelona get lower odds if they play squads that are under the pecking order in their respective leagues, but they do even out when they match against consistent squads like them if they are in the Champions League.

cyber bet bonus promo codeThey do offer a $10 free bet upon your first deposit of $10. This free bet offer is sent to you by email after you first create and verify your account. However, you do need to act quickly since the free bet offer only stands for 14 days after your account creation.

cyber bet depositsThey do offer a lot of deposit methods for cashing in for your bankroll. They accept a lot of online wallets such as Neteller, Yandex, WebMoney, and AstroPay. They also accept mobile payment solutions such as Qiwi. If you want the route of cryptocurrency, they do accept bitcoin deposits. And if those are not your thing and want to use the route of a credit card, sadly they only accept Visa for the meantime.

These are also the same withdrawal outlets for you to use if ever you want to cash out your winnings or bankroll.

cyber bet esports betting customer supportThe site does have a live chat option, however, the response on it is limited. Perhaps this is due to the recent coronavirus pandemic that has affected the world right now or I just asked a query on a weekend, but it somehow reverted to the email support option when I tried to ask a question for customer service.

However, what I can say about their customer service is that they are polite! I might have had to wait 2 days for a reply to a question I asked, but when they replied to my email, they did answer my questions and as a bonus, they provided links to the FAQ page for future reference. Not a lot of customer service reps do this nowadays, and for me, this is a good thing!

cyber bet betting esportsThe website is very mobile-friendly. In reality, I prefer browsing on the site using my Note 10. The panel design on it is just perfect to look at and I think it is actually designed to be viewed on mobile phones or tablets. The design is just seamless when you look at it through your phone’s browser.

If you are using a tablet though, it just reverts back to a desktop version since the screen is wide and can incorporate for the space that is lacking on mobile phones. I think it is actually intelligently designed to be able to detect screen size and display it in either a desktop or a mobile version. Something that a lot of other bookie companies can learn from Cyber Bet.

cyber bet pros consAll in all, this is actually a good site to bet in. Based on the positive reviews that I have seen in regard to their withdrawal process, I would definitely try to play here. Nowadays that most of the esports tournaments are resorting to the online ones due to the current pandemic, I will be able to test this site when the next big tourney is coming in. What I really want to try to do here is to bet on some football matches when the pandemic quarantine is lifted. I think this would be a good place to bet on some football matches.

However, as I said earlier, you just need to be careful that you are visiting the real CyberBet website instead of some of the impostors out there since they are easily copied. Other than that small hiccup, I do recommend trying CyberBet at least once since this is one of the few sites where you can actually easily track your betslips on whichever section you go to.

Today, I have something that I need to talk about. This topic affects all of us esports fans, whatever game you might like to watch in your free time. Be it CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends or even gamers from the mobile gaming community. This affects us all

So what I am talking about is this new global pandemic that is currently affecting the world. Covid-19 is a strain of the already existent coronavirus found in cattle. So, how is it really relevant to today’s esports?

Well, it does impact the current esports scene in a pretty major way. If you want to know how it currently is impacting the competitive gaming right now, and even some time in the future, stick around and read below as I will be discussing how this new virus affected the gaming scene.

esports tournametns canceled virus

Zero Hour

So the Covid-19 gained traction sometime during late February or even early March. Typically, those months are the busiest for two of the biggest games that have a very active esports scene. These triple-A titles are Dota 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. During the month of February, there was a really big CS:GO tournament that happened in Katowice. That was during the tail end of February, leading to the month of March.

Also, if you remember correctly, I did mention a lot of tournaments that were going to be happening during March. There was the prestigious ESL ONE series in Los Angeles for Dota 2, which was actually the third Valve Major. This Valve Major was supposed to happen from March 15th all the way till March 22nd. This event had a million dollars in prizes up for grabs including 15,000 DPC points that were supposed to be distributed to all the competitors.

Aside from that, there was also a tourney during this March for Valve’s shooter game, Counter Strike. That was another ESL event, which was the ESL Pro League. The ESL Pro League was going to start on March 16th and will last up until April 12th, which is a pretty long event, to be honest. This tourney was going to be held in Denver, Colorado.

These were the two events that got hit right when the Covid-19 outbreak started during the second week of March. The airports became hot outbreak zones as well as the two major cities that these tournaments were supposed to be held in, which was Los Angeles and Denver. These two tournaments have been canceled indefinitely. We still do not know when these tournaments will resume, or if they will even resume in the next few months.

esports coronavirus dota 2 csgo

The After Effect

So, what are the after-effects of this new global pandemic on our much-beloved esports scene? Well, I already have a few scenarios in mind. For starters, as I mentioned above, when the Covid-19 outbreak happened, two major tournaments have been canceled right away, which was a Valve Dota 2 Major and one of the Intel Grand Slam events for CS:GO.

The immediate after effect of that would be to push the calendar for those yearly events to be moved up until the global pandemic ends. When it will end, we still do not know, but hopefully, this blows over sooner rather than later.

If the pandemic dies down in the next few months, we might see The Internationals happen around the late fall season or early winter months instead of the usual summer months. The same can be said for the CS:GO counterpart which is the IEM Grand Slam.

That was the best-case scenario if it ends in a few months. However, the worst-case scenario would be if it does not die down sooner but rather later around the year. That would mean that there are no prestigious events that will be happening this year. Aside from that, there might be no tournaments either for next year if this plague does not die within this year.

esports virus 2020

The Aftermath

Now aside from the events that will be surely canceled, and the whole calendar year of the various esports scene hanging around waiting for this to blow over, let’s talk about what will happen to various organizations and how the tournaments will be set up in the future after all this blows over. For starters, we still do not have a clue regarding which of our favorite players contracted the virus or who did not. Let’s all just hope that our favorite players or teams stay healthy so that we still would be able to see them play in the tournaments.

Now that’s the first part. The second thing is that, will these gaming organizations still keep their doors open for an extended period of time if there are no tournaments to join. No tourneys = no prizes to win. That seems hard since if there is an extended period of time with no events, how are these organizations going to keep playing the players? I mean not everyone is OG who won back to back Internationals with all the prizes it brings. So I think a lot of these smaller teams will suffer and might close down. Hopefully, they recover.

The tournaments will most likely be affected as well since with fewer teams post-pandemic era, there will be fewer tournaments. Fewer tournaments mean fewer prizes, which also means the esports scene becomes a little bit stagnant. Hopefully, that won’t happen, but in the unlikely scenario that it will, it will be like going back to the early part of the 2010s when esports was just starting.

Surely though the prestigious events like The Internationals and the IEM Grand Slam will still survive, including the counterpart of the TI for League of Legends since those are being sponsored by big companies, but for other smaller titles like Fortnite and PUBG which are not really that established in the scene yet, they will see a considerable dip in the participants for their events for sure.

Last but not the least, it will be affecting us, viewers. The post-pandemic events locations might be stricter when admitting people in, so it will be harder for us viewers to be able to support our teams if we are not in tip-top health. Not just the events but the governments of where these tourneys will be held in will surely be stricter.

For sure, visas will be harder to get or acquire and there will surely be stricter protocols being placed in the airports to prevent another pandemic like this. But looking on the bright side, if we ever survive this, I am sure that the gaming community will band together and will flourish again just like what happened in the past when the scene was just starting out.

Good luck and keep safe!

The next big CS:GO ESL tournament is just around the block, Counter-Strike fans! Season 11 of the ESL Pro League will be played in Denver, Colorado between the 16th of March up until the 12th of April. It will be a very big event and that will feature $750,000 in prizes. Also, this is a part of the Intel Grand Slam event for additional prizes.

There is no current favorite squad who will most likely win the Grand Slam since all of the teams that are in there currently sit on 1 win each. Hopefully one of those 6 squads notches a secondary win for that additional payday. Aside from being part of the Grand Slam, this tourney will also award points for the Blast Premier event that will be held in June.

Let’s check the teams participating in this event as well as compose our betting predictions for this Denver ESL Pro League 11 Series.

Teams

There are a total of 24 hopeful teams that will be competing for the prestige and the majority of the tourney points for both the Pro Tour and the Blast Premier. These 24 squads are split between the permanent partner teams, the ESL world rankings and also the teams that will be able to qualify through the season events.

The permanent squads are Astralis, Complexity, Ence, Evil Geniuses, Faze, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Mouz, Na’Vi, NiP, Liquid, Vitality, and 100 Thieves. The squads who earned their spots due to the world rankings are Furia, Godsent, OG and Virtus Pro. Tyloo, Sharks, North, Heroic, and Renegades earned their spots during the ESL Pro Season 10 Finals while Forze and Boom earned their spots during the ESEA Season 32.

Format

This tournament has a pretty unique format. Half of the participants will be dropped after the group stages and only the upper half of each group will be advancing to the playoffs. The winners from each group will be competing for direct seeds in the semi-finals and also the quarter-finals through a mini play-in tourney.

The winners secure a semi-final spot while the losers from the play-in events secure a quarter-final spot. The teams who finish second and third from each group will secure a playoff spot on the round of 12.

ESP Pro League Season 11 Predictions

Now, this is the most exciting part for me, making the predictions. I will be predicting which of these squads will be most likely the upper three from each of the brackets. As an added bonus, I will also be predicting which of the teams will win in the play-in mini tourney. So as John McCarthy would say, “Let’s get it on!!

Group A (Play-in: Denver CS:GO ESL Pro League Season 11 Preview And Predictions)

This is a pretty stacked bracket. However, there are teams here that are clear favorites and will most likely occupy the top spots. Surely no one can argue that Vitality and Astralis will be clear favorites and will be able to easily secure spots on the top three. I mean out of all 6, they are two of the higher-ranked squads in the world rankings, with Astralis sitting comfortably in the third spot while Vitality is in the top 10.

The exciting thing here is that the battle for third place will most likely be contested between NiP, Ence, and Godsent, with Ence being a major favorite. I will be counting Sharks out since out of all the 6 here, they are the squad with the least experience in playing in major events, and they will most likely be steamrolled by the bigger squads.

Group B (Play-in: Denver CS:GO ESL Pro League Season 11 Preview And tips)

Another semi stacked bracket. However, Group B paints a different story than that of Group A. All of the competitors here have experience in playing in big tourneys. However, there is a clear cut favorite to win in here. I think Na’Vi will take it all the way to the top, with them being the most recent Katowice Major winner and Perfecto playing perfectly, I do not see any reason why they will not coast to the top easily.

Now the second and third spots will be highly contested, but I think Fnatic will be in a close second with Furia coming in third. In my honest opinion, Furia is the new flag bearer of the Brazilians, and I think they will be doing well in this tourney.

Group C (Play-in: Denver CS:GO ESL Pro League Season 11 Preview And advice)

This is the real group of death. This bracket is heavily stacked! You have the likes of 100 Thieves, Liquid, Boom, and Mouz in here. The Karrigan led Mouz is currently the best squad in the entire world and I think that they will be the team to keep an eye on in this bracket. They will surely face heavy competition in 100 Thieves and Liquid but I see no reason why they cannot overcome them.

By far, these two will be their heaviest competition in this bracket. These three will also be the forerunners of securing the top spots and advancing to the playoffs.

Group D (Play-in: Denver CS:GO ESL Pro League Season 11 Preview And Predictions betting)

This bracket has 3 strong teams that are most likely to advance to the playoffs. There is a single team here that is somewhat a dark horse candidate and that is North. North is capable of challenging EG, Faze or G2 for a spot on the top only if they play well. Amanek from G2 is still a beast and EG is still a very solid roster even though they have somewhat cooled off. Faze is well, Faze. The NiKo led squad is capable of pulling upsets against higher-rated teams like G2 and EG. That is the reason why I picked them as the play-in winner instead of the fan-favorite EG.

OG and TyLoo sadly will not really have a chance of reaching the top half since they are a little bit inexperienced in OG’s case. In TyLoo’s case, however, they have recently lost their best player, BnTeT. I do not think Somebody will be able to carry TyLoo alone to a spot in the playoffs.

esports betting predictions csgo 2020

Play-in Predictions

Now for the play-in predictions. I will be picking Na’Vi and Mouz to get the semi-final spots. It will be Astralis playing against Na’Vi and Mouz will be playing against Faze. For the Astralis – Na’Vi match, I think the CIS roster still has the momentum from their most recent Major win in Katowice. They would most likely try to capitalize on that and carry it over in this tournament.

Now for the reason why I picked Mouz, it’s just plain and simple revenge for Karrigan. I mean, NiKo did get him kicked off from that squad, and I want to see justice for getting Karrigan displaced. I mean, who does not want to see a grudge match every now and then right?

There will be a new tournament for Dota 2 this coming March. It will be 2020’s second Valve Major. It is none other than the prestigious ESL One. This tourney will be held in the sunny city of Los Angeles. This will be a 7-day event which will start on March 15th and will end on March 22nd. It will feature a million dollars in prizes as well as a total of 15,000 DPC points to be distributed to all the competitors for the event.

Since this is a Valve Major, ESL One will also be awarding DPC points. The winner for this tournament will get a third of the prize pool, both in cash and in DPC points. The champion will go home with $300,000 and also 4,850 DPC points to go towards their qualification for The International.

Teams

There are a total of 16 teams that will be competing at this event. There will be 3 squads from the EU, China, and South East Asia regions. CIS, North America, and South America each get 2 spots, and the final spot will be reserved for the victors of the Minors in Kyiv.

The squads who represent the EU are Secret, OG, and NiP. iG, Royal Never Give Up and E-Home will be representing the Chinese region. Fnatic, Geek Fam, and Adroit will be the representatives from the SEA region.

CIS will be represented by their powerhouses, Natus Vincere and Virtus Pro. Evil Geniuses and Chaos Esports Club will be representing the North American region, while Thunder Predator and Beastcoast represent the South Americans. Last but not the least, is going to be the winner of the Kyiv minor, Team Aster.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Predictions

This will be a very big tourney so my predictions section will be somewhat big too. I will be picking the top 4 most likely to win the tournament. Aside from the fan-favorite ones, I will also be picking two dark horse candidates.

There are a lot of big squads that are not included in this roster of teams. Some squads have also somewhat overhauled their lineups such as OG and NiP so this will be an interesting major for sure. So without further ado, I’m gonna go ahead and start with my predictions.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Betting Predictions

So to kick things off, the most likely winner of this tournament will be Secret. They have won the most recent Major last January. Aside from that, there’s no Vici Gaming or TNC Predators in the list of competitors that will mostly cramp their style. During that event in Leipzig, they only lost one game on their way to the playoffs.

They also only dropped a single game during the playoffs to secure their spot on the Grand Finals. Overall, Secret has been showing some very impressive displays that are noteworthy. Matumbaman has adjusted well and is playing well, and I think that will be a big factor for them securing a secondary Major win.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Betting advice

The second noteworthy candidate for a Major winner will be none other than Evil Geniuses. The other Grand Finalist during the Leipzig Major. After securing Abed from Fnatic and Ramzes from Virtus Pro, EG was a little bit on the rocky side post TI shuffle. But it seemed that 2020 might be a very good year for EG since they have recently been performing well on tournaments. The loss of Sumail impacted them a lot but Abed has filled that role for them.

Ramzes has also become a very suitable replacement for the spot that s4 vacated in the offlane. Aside from that, the tournament will be held in California, which is EG’s bastion. For sure, their fans from North California will surely make the drive south to support them. Think about a home team advantage on this one.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Betting tips

The third squad that is also a fan favorite is OG. The current 2 time defending Dota 2 Champions is still a favorite among fans! Surely they lost three of their core players who won those championships with Ceb stepping down from the squad, Ana taking another extended break and Jerax ultimately retiring from the competitive scene, but they have already found suitable replacements for those players. And when I mean suitable, means they are top of the line players! They signed Sumail to replace Ana, MidOne to replace Ceb and Saksa to replace Jerax.

The first two players I mentioned actually used to play on the two squads that I mentioned here in my predictions. Although these two players will be playing new roles, I think that they will do well on those new roles anyway. MidOne used to play mid for Secret and Sumail used to play mid for EG before. Since Topson is occupying that spot, surely Sumail will still flourish playing in the safe lane and surely MidOne will be able to adjust well in the offlane. Only Saksa will be the new player who will be playing in the same role as a support counterpart in NoTail.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Betting

The final squad that I think will be able to win the Major will be the Chinese legends, Invictus Gaming. The ex TI winners will be a force to be reckoned with this coming ESL One event. They recently placed well on both the 2019-2020 Valve Major events, with them coming 3rd in Chengdu and then coming 5th in Leipzig. They have already accumulated a lot of points to be able to secure a direct invite to TI 10 this year.

With the missing out on TI 9, I am sure they will do their hardest to be able to secure an invite for this year’s edition. This was solidified when they signed Kaka during the post-International shuffle. With Vici Gaming missing from the list of competitors as well, iG will have an easier time securing an Upper Bracket spot. That is unless they get grouped together with Aster, which is somewhat their kryptonite.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Bets tips

Now for the dark horse competitors. My first dark horse pick will be none other than Team Aster. If you look at past records, teams who secure a spot in the Majors through a Minors tournament always places well and even finished in podium spots. Aside from that, Aster is one of those Chinese squads that have a lot of quality players in their lineup.

They got the likes of Boboka, Sccc and Fade with them, and Sccc is a top tier safe lane carry player in my opinion. If they play well during the tournament, I do not see why they won’t be able to secure at least a podium spot.

Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles Preview And Bets advice

And lastly, as a Virtus Pro fan, I will choose them as a dark horse competitor. Sure they lost tons of players and especially their core players such as Ramzes, Pasha, and Rodjer, but this CIS squad is still the best in their region and is still able to hang toe to toe with the big boys.

Solo is still an excellent support player and No One is still a beast at the mid lane. Sure Resolution is sometimes a little bit iffy at the off lane but he has his moments where he can entirely carry the team on his back. One good team fight is what it all takes for Virtus Pro to be successful, to be honest.

Hey ladies and gentlemen! How fast time flies! The first Major tournament for CS:GO for 2020 is just over on the horizon. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Well, IEM Katowice is upon us again! All of you know that a lot of magic happens whenever CS:GO is played in Katowice. If you remember correctly, ENCE made their big break last year when they went against all the odds!

Anyway, IEM Katowice will be a 7-day tournament. It will start on the 24th of February and the Grand Finals will be played on the 1st of March. It will also feature half a million USD in prizes, with the eventual champion taking home a quarter of a million dollars. This tournament will also be part of the most coveted IEM Grand Slam, which is now on its third season.

Today we shall check the list of participants as well as provide our betting predictions for the Katowice 2020 Major tournament!

esports betting cs go tournametns 2020

Teams

There will be a total of 16 squads competing for the chance to take home a quarter-million dollars! Out of the 16, 7 of those squads will be directly invited, while the remaining 9 have earned their right to play in the tournament from various qualifiers.

The directly invited squads are 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, Liquid, Na’Vi, Ninjas In Pyjamas, Virtus Pro and Vitality. Fnatic earned their spot during the Dreamhack tourney in Malmo. Astralis got their spot from winning IEM Beijing, and Mouz earned their spot when they won the ESL Pro League last December. Faze, G2 and Mad Lions all earned their spots from the EU qualifiers. Cloud 9 is from the NA qualifier, Renegades from Oceania and lastly, TyLoo from Asia.

esports cs go betting tips 2020

Roster and Lineup Changes

A lot has changed since the last tournament in January. Cloud 9 dropped its remaining players such as Autimatic, Daps, Koosta, and Golden. Golden will be playing in Fnatic now since he has been permanently signed by them. For the new C9 roster, they have signed the whole lineup of the South African organization, ATK.

Originally though, Vici Gaming should be the one from the Asian qualifier, however, they failed to secure visas. Hence TyLoo took their spot on the tourney. Speaking of TyLoo, their coach KingZ will not be coming with them since he is in quarantine because of the Coronavirus outbreak. Crusade will be taking his spot and coach TyLoo.

Katowice 2020 Major Predictions

Since this is a double-elimination tournament, only the top 3 squads from each group will be advancing to the playoffs. That will mean the Upper and Lower bracket winners and also the runner up from the upper bracket match. The Upper Bracket winners will secure a spot on the semi-finals of the playoffs while the rest will battle it out on the quarter-finals.

Since the groups have already been released, I will be predicting which of the three most likely squads will advance from the group stages to play in the playoffs. I will be basing my predictions of the ones who will advance on the opening matches of each group.

Group A

Now this group is pretty stacked from the get-go. We do have some very big names in this group, however, there will always be some that stand out.

Right off the bat, I think Astralis will be one of the teams that will be on the top three of the tournament. Their first match will be against the new Cloud 9, and I think they will easily win that match. Not taking away from the new C9, but they are just a little bit inexperienced in the bigger stages like these.

For the second Group A match, it will be one of the good ones. NiP and Vitality are pretty much the same, with the same quality. Both of these lineups have experience in the big stages like these so this one will be a match to watch. However, I will give the edge over to Vitality since NiP has just recently lost most of its core players in Get Right and then recently Forest. If they can adjust to the loss of leadership, then I see them giving Vitality a run for their money. Otherwise, they will go down to the lower brackets.

The third Group A match will be between Na’Vi and Faze. Now, these two squads are two of the bigger names in the scene and they surely have their own fair share of star players. The way I see it, we are looking at the group winners of Blast Pro last month, with Faze winning the A bracket and Na’Vi winning the B bracket. It seems that Perfecto has been filling out the role of Guardian well. So if I were to choose between these two squads who would win their matchup, I would pick Na`Vi over Faze.

And lastly, Renegades against Fnatic. This matchup is somewhat a no brainer. I will be straight up picking Fnatic over Renegades. If this was the old lineup of Renegades with JKS and Jkaem, I might be hesitant to give the win to Fnatic right away. But since it is not, then it will be the Swedes all the way. With their recent addition of Golden who is calling the shots now, I most likely think that they will 2-0 Renegades.

And now for my prediction on who will advance to the Katowice Major playoffs. It will be Na`Vi, Astralis, and Vitality, with Astralis winning the group and Na`Vi coming in second.

Group B

The opening match here would be Mouz against TyLoo. Just like with Renegades vs Fnatic, this match is a no brainer. I will be picking Mouz over TyLoo on this one. The difference in their executions is just too big of a gap. Karrigan is a scary IGL, and he has Woxic, ChrisJ and Ropz as his teammates. With TyLoo losing BnTeT, who was their best player last December, I see no way for them to win against Mouz since Xeta is still an untested player in big stages.

The second match will be between 100 Thieves and G2. This is one of the two “fair” matchups in this bracket. 100T and G2 are somewhat equal in strength between them but what sets them apart is the star player quality that they have. And for that reason alone, I will be picking G2 over 100 Thieves. Amanek has been playing out of his mind lately. I mean the dude is considered as the best player in the world right now. KennyS has also been hitting a lot of his AWP shots and been making a ton of big plays recently just like their last tournament in Blast Pro.

The third match is the second “fair” matchup of Group B. This will be between Liquid and Virtus Pro. VP has recently picked up the whole Avangar roster just this December, the same Avangar squad that has won Blast Pro Moscow and went to the Finals of Berlin last year. That means they have quality. However, this is Katowice, and this is a big stage! And they are playing against Liquid, who won IEM Grand Slam Season 2. With this one though, this will be a flip of the coin and will most likely go 2-1 either way since the quality of the competitors is pretty much equal. For this one, I think Liquid will win, but VP will surely make it hard for them.

And now for the final matchup. This will be a one-sided matchup as well between EG and the newcomers Mad Lions. Just like with the new roster of C9, Mad Lions just does not have enough experience to play in the big stages like these and to hang with the big squads like EG. I will be picking EG on this one and they will most likely 2-0 Mad Lions. A few more big tourneys like this, and we might see Mad Lions as a contender, but in the meantime, I will be giving the win and my bets on the more seasoned squad.

The ones who will advance to the playoffs will most likely be Mouz, G2, and Liquid.

Hello ladies and gents!! Yes, it is that time again! The Blast Pro Series is back in 2020, and they do have a new format!! Instead of having a 2-3 day event like in the past, it is being renamed now to Blast Premier. The event is now bigger, feature a bigger prize pool and a better tournament structure.

The Blast Premier now features seasons and a Global Finals, like any other respectable Major out there. The new Blast Premier Spring Series will kick off on January 31st and it will conclude on the 16th of February. The event will be played right in the heart of London, in the 3 Mills Studio. The 16-day event will also feature a $300K prize pool. The victors will also earn seeds to the upcoming Spring 2020 Finals.

Let’s find out who is going to participate in this event and make our betting predictions for the first upcoming matches.

esports csgo betting 2020

Teams

There will be a total of 12 squads competing in this debut event by Blast. The invitees for this inaugural event are 100 Thieves, Astralis, Complexity Gaming, Evil Geniuses, Faze, G2, Liquid, MiBR, Na’Vi, NiP, Vitality, and OG. Almost all of these teams that are invited have been around in the CS:GO scene. We do have new blood that is trying to make their mark in Counter Strike. That newcomer is none other than OG.

Roster and Lineup Changes

There have been recent roster changes that have rocked some of the participating squads in this tournament. The first one is that Natus Vincere will be benching their main AWPer GuardiaN. They will be replacing him with Perfecto, whom they have recently acquired from Syman Gaming.

The next roster change in here will rock the whole CS:GO scene. In a short span of a few months, Ninjas in Pyjamas lost their legends. First, it was Get Right, who left in October. Now the other legendary player, Forest has also left NiP. He will be replaced by Nawwk, who left Team GamerLegion to fill up Forest’s spot.

In an interesting twist, Forest actually left NiP to join Get Right and few ex NiP players who recently formed Dignitas.

esports tournament cs go 2020 tips

Format

Since this is an inaugural Blast Series event, there will be a new set of rules for this competition. This Spring 2020 event is just an opener so technically these are the group stages. The squads will be divided into three groups. These three groups will simulate a double elimination playoff format.

Only the top 2 squads from each group will advance to the Spring Finals, which will be held in Moscow in June. The bottom half of the teams will play in the Spring Showdown to try to earn a spot for the Finals in June, of which has not been announced yet.

Blast Premier Spring Predictions

Since the groups have already been announced with their opening matches, I will be predicting the winners of those opening matches from each bracket. Additionally, I will also be predicting which of those squads advance to the prestigious Springs Finals. So without further delay, let’s get cracking!

Group A

Alright, right off the bat we will have an awesome match to watch. FaZe playing against NiP will be a joy to watch.

Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and Predictions vs Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and tips

However, I will be giving this match to FaZe Clan instead of NiP. There are a lot of reasons why I choose the NiKo ran squad. The first reason is that they will surely want a payback of what happened last month during the Blast Pro World Championships. They actually got destroyed by NiP on the opening match. They did get some sort of payback during the Showmatch but I think that is not enough for them.

The second reason is that NiP has just suffered a devastating roster change recently. They have lost one of their core players who makes a lot of clutch plays in Forest, and I think that will affect the stability of NiP in this big tournament. Nawwk is still an untested talent, and with him playing in a big stage for the first time, I think the pressure will get to him.

Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and advice vs Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and Predictions betting

For the second match, We all know who will win this one. MiBR has been a train wreck during the whole 2019, dropping tons of matches where they should have won. They also have been 16 -0’ed a couple of times during that year, the most notable was during the FACEIT Major where Astralis destroyed them in Dust 2. Apart from that, they also have lost ColdZera to Faze.

I think this is not the year for MiBR as I know they are still adjusting. Also, Liquid has been revitalizing its own streaks quite recently. Just last month, they have reached the finals of two very big tournaments, only to lose to Astralis. They have reached the grand final stage of the Blast Pro Global Finals and also the ECS Season 8 finals.

The top 2 squads from Group A that will most likely secure spots on the Spring Finals will be FaZe and Liquid. However, I think it will be Liquid who will be the overall winners of this bracket as they are the more stable roster.

Group B

Now for the second bracket opening match, the CIS squad Na’Vi vs. the French squad Vitality.

Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and betting tips vs Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and betting advice

It really is not hard to determine that Vitality will be winning their match against Na’Vi. I mean the CIS roster has recently just lost GuardiaN, and like Nawwk, Perfecto is still an untested talent. Aside from that, Simple will not be able to carry the games alone just like what he did back in the past.

Electronic and Flamie will really need to step up if Na’Vi wants to snatch this win from the French giants. ZyWoo is not called one of the best players in the world for nothing, so with that train of thought, I think this match will go to Vitality.

Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and betting vs Blast Premier Spring Series London 2020 Preview and Predictions bets

The second match. All I can say is, Astralis is back baby!!! They have been silent for half of the year last year, but they really know how to turn it around. In the remaining 3 months of 2019, Astralis won almost all of the Major tournaments they joined in, starting with the Berlin Major and ending it with the BPS Global Finals.

I think Astralis will continue the streak this year. Not to take anything away from Complexity, but they have not been a real successful team lately.

Now for the teams who will advance, I think it is pretty clear cut. Those squads will be Liquid and Astralis, although I think Astralis will win this group comfortably. They have beaten Liquid just a month ago on 2 very big tourneys, I’m definitely sure that they will be able to beat them again.

Group C

And now for the final bracket. The opening match between 100 Thieves and G2 will be exciting to watch.

These are 2 squads that are somewhat similar to each other skill-wise, so you really cannot pick a favorite to win. The ex-Renegades players, while although a stable roster sometimes drops a lot of crucial games.

The same thing can be said with regard to G2. Kenny cannot carry the team alone and it is actually a good thing that Amanek has been stepping up recently. So for this match, I think I will flip a coin for this since these two squads are so evenly matched. If I to choose one for a bet, I would give the edge to 100 Thieves.

The second match for Group C is similar to the Astralis vs. Complexity match-up in Group B, which is pretty one-sided. Evil Geniuses will take this match for sure.

OG is a new kid on the block and it is really bad luck for them to be going up against one of the hottest squads in the scene right now. They could still get lucky as OG got some really good players in NBK and AleksiB, but I think Brehze and the crew will just steamroll them over.

There is only one squad that I am sure will advance to the finals from this bracket, and that is EG. Like I said before, I am unsure about who will advance between 100 Thieves and G2 since they are so similar.

If you have your own predictions for the first match-ups of the Blast Premier Spring series, then don’t forget to share them in the comments below!

Good luck!

Counter-Strike is one of the most popular game series in the world and now the latest game: Global Offensive, attracts many new players every day. Why? Well, the game has a very small threshold of entry. You don’t need top hardware and a lot of training experience to start playing CS:GO. Just a usual PC, mouse, keyboard, Steam account and congratulations, you’re a CS:GO player!

From now you can run, jump, shoot and kill enemies in one of the most popular FPS games in the world. But after you start, you’ll have one important question. How to become good at CS:GO and how to improve your own skills? Well, look no further, in this article we have collected the best CS:GO tips for beginners who want to become a pro.

1. In-game settings

Before you start playing CS:GO you need to set up your own settings. In this game, you can change a lot of points, starting with the crosshair and ending with the keyboard macros. The main settings point what you need to change is:

  • Mouse configuration (sensitivity, double click and etc.)
  • Crosshair (Colour, size, dynamic zoom)
  • Display (Aspect ratio, Permission, Texture quality and etc)
  • Sound (Device selection, effect volume)
  • Keyboard (Macros, binds and etc)

It’s important to set your game up before you start playing. Try different configurations of settings in training matches and it will help you in future competitive games. A convenient way to save your CS:GO settings is to create an autoexec file. In this file you can manage and save your own in-game settings. Then when you launch CS:GO it will use autoexec first.

2. Learn a few maps and play only them

In Counter-Strike Global Offensive there are 7 competitive maps. Several additional maps are under Valve’s development. They remove maps from the general list, recycle them and then return them. To get good at CS:GO you need to choose one or two maps and learn all about them: from the plants location, ways to the plants, windows and boxes, boosts and map points.

To be a good player you need to know everything about the map where you play. Where to wait for your opponents, how to reach a point unexpectedly for the enemies, including where to shoot more conveniently for you (but not for the enemies!). All of this info can give you a profitable result.

In my opinion the best CS:GO maps for beginners are:

  • Mirage
  • Inferno
  • Dust II

Another top tip is to learn a lot of useful information about maps from videos prepared by professional players. You can see what I mean in this movie about Mirage:

3. It’s not just rifles and pistols that give you a win – grenades are very effective

Usually, beginners don’t use grenades in CS:GO or they either use them ineffectively. There are five types of grenades:

  • Flashback – a grenade that blinds opponents. Depending on whether a grenade hits the enemy’s field of view, it can blind completely or partially.
  • HE Grenade – deal damage to enemies and allies alike. The closer the grenade gets to the character, the higher the damage level.
  • Molotov / Incendiary grenade – a grenade that causes periodic damage to the area. With these grenades, you can restrict enemy movements and damage the area.
  • Smoke – a grenade that closes the field of view. This grenade helps to block windows, doors and various passageways from enemies. Smoke can put out a Molotov and Incendiary fire.

Each of the grenades can be applied in different situations on the different CS:GO maps. Learn how to use each type of grenade and find out the best way to throw it. For example, one of the most effective techniques is what pro players throwing the flash-bang calls popflash. It includes a grenade trajectory that the enemy doesn’t have time to dodge.

4. Opening cases is a waste of time

One of the important differences between CS:GO and other games is the presence of skins for each weapon. In this game, you have an opportunity to upgrade your in-game inventory with beautiful items. There are 2 ways to get skins:

  • Opening cases
  • Buying them on the marketplace

In my own opinion: the case opening is a waste of time. Because you’ll need a lot of cases and a ton of luck to get your desirable skin. The best way is to buy it on dedicated marketplaces.

In CS:GO you can trade with Steam marketplaces and 3rd party services. The main difference between these two ways is Steam doesn’t provide an opportunity to withdraw real money and is more expensive than 3rd party services. With services such as DMarket, you can find the best price of any skins and earn real money.

5. Weapon spray patterns and recoil compensation

Each weapon in CS:GO has a different spray pattern, this is where your bullets go when you’re shooting. Sometimes in CS:GO you may need to clamp your rifle for effective shooting. When you need to control your bullets it’s called CS:GO Recoil Compensation.

Players who want to improve their in-game level will need to learn their spray pattern and recoil compensation of the most popular weapons: AK-47, M4A4, Famas, SG 553, AUG, Galil and etc.

6. Be a teammate

Counter-Strike Global Offensive is a team game. Essentially, one team will play another and to become a winner you need to cooperate with your teammates. This tip would be useful for any multiplayer game, but in FPS games it is especially important. Talk with your teammates and share your useful information:

● About everything that has happened on your side of the map

● The number of enemies you hear or see

● Tips and advice in different situations

● Even if your teammate isn’t good at playing, cheer him up, don’t flame him

Listen to your team and believe me, you will get good at CS:GO in the short term. Even if your team has a bad shooter, there is still the potential for you to win the game if you have good communication and fighting spirit.

7. Relax and enjoy the game

In each case you need to remember that CS:GO is just a game. Although, this game gives you real feelings. You are so happy if you win, but don’t worry if you have lost the match. It seems very simple, but after a tense game, my advice is to try and accept it without too much emotion.

Free your mind and go outside and get some fresh air. Walk down the street and let your body rest physically and mentally. Just 10-15 minutes of rest will give you good feelings and power for new achievements. Once an hour, let your eyes rest from the monitor for 5-10 minutes. This will improve your performance and response in future games.

In conclusion, all of the above. Try to perfect your game in every match, train with bots or on custom training maps, learn all about popular weapons and try to shoot with different weapons at different distances on training maps. Plus, if you help yourself with grenades, over time you’ll learn how to use them efficiently and effectively.

Constantly study videos from professional players and watch how they play. Learn all the points on the maps and all the nuances – they will help you win! Most importantly be a good teammate and people will be nice to you, always communicate and listen to what your teammates say. Make sure to relax both after victories and defeats, physically and mentally -spend more time outdoors. All these tips will help you become better and start to win. But always remember, that this is just a game.

It seems I made a very big blunder when I said that the Blast Pro Finals was the last big tournament for CS:GO for 2019. I did not notice that Epicenter was just looming around the corner when I made that announcement. Well, for you guys who thought cannot make last-minute bets for a holiday payday, well this is good news.

Epicenter 2019 will be closing out the year for CS:GO on the premier tournament scale. This event will have a $500,000 prize pool. The winner of the event will go home $250,000 richer. What a nice way to end the year right? The tourney will be held in the Crocus Expo Hall in Mother Russia’s capital, Moscow. The tournament proper will start on the 17th of December and will end on the 22nd. If you are also a Dota 2 fan, then you will be plenty busy since it has the same tournament dates as the World Pro Invitational in Singapore.

Let’s check the list of participants and betting predictions for the 2019 Moscow Epicenter.

Teams

A total of 8 squads will be competing for half a million prize pool. There were 4 direct invite spots while the remaining spots were secured from qualifiers in the EU, CIS, and China. The directly invited teams are Avangar and Natus Vincere which are both from the CIS, Evil Geniuses from NA and the French roster Team Vitality

The Danish squad Heroic and Mousesports secured their spots from the EU qualifiers. Forze, the CIS newcomers secured their spot on their regional qualifiers. And a brand new squad will make a debut in the global CS:GO scene by winning the Chinese qualifiers, EHome.

Roster Replacements

There has been a single roster replacement in the tournament. Fnatic was supposed to attend the tourney when they won one of the spots on the European qualifier. However, they decided to extend their vacation so they vacated the spot. Mousesports was chosen to replace them in the tournament.

Format

The format of the tourney follows one of the most standard event formats in the CS:GO scene. The group stages will be double elimination and will be played in best of 3. Three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs while one from each group will be eliminated. The winners from each group will advance directly to a semi-final seed while the second and third teams get a quarter-final seed.

Group A

From how this group is stacked up, the team that has the biggest chance to secure the semi-final seed and win their bracket is the French squad, Team Vitality. They have been pretty consistent during the past 6 months and have placed fairly well in a lot of big tournaments. A close second to them and the only one who has a chance to kick them off the spot would be Na’Vi.

With GuardiaN returning to their fold, they have been a strong team on paper. On tournaments though, that has yet to be seen, although GuardiaN is adjusting well to his new environment. The loss of Edward and Zeus has really messed up Na’Vi’s team synergy. If they manage to fix that, then they will surely become a contender in the future.

Tough luck for EHome to be placed on this group. They would be playing against squads that have been doing this for a lot of years. What’s even worse is that their opening match will be up against the French giants. Being the new kids on the block, I think we will see the huge difference in their gap in skill.

If they end up playing against Heroic in the eliminations match, I will be giving the edge to Heroic since the Danes have been playing a lot longer in the CS:GO scene and have the experience on big tournaments to back it up. If only EHome was grouped up with Forze, they would have had a chance. But with Vitality as their opening match and most likely Heroic on the eliminations, they have a very slim chance of getting out of the group and go to the playoffs.

Group B

Now, this is a Group of Death. All of the competitors here have had experience playing in big tournaments throughout the year. The most decorated out of all of them would be Evil Geniuses though and I think they will be the one coming out on top. They have been a very strong team lately, even during their NRG days before EG acquired them. After an organization with better management acquired them, they have just been on an upward spike. A close second to them would be Mousesports, who is actually going to be playing the Grand Finals match against Fnatic in the ESL Pro League.

Mouz has recruited a lot of quality players when they signed Woxic from Hell Raisers and Karrigan from Faze earlier in the year. However, Mouz might be fatigued coming into this tourney since they would only have a couple of days of downtime and would still need to travel to be able to participate in this event, so Avangar might be able to edge them over and take the second place. Still a long shot but only one could hope, right?

Forze is in the same position as Ehome as the squad that will not come out alive in this Group of Death. If I were to pick between both CIS squads, I would obviously pick Avangar. They got Jame in there who has been in a lot of CS:GO montages on YouTube lately, and overall, they just have more experience than Forze. I mean not to knock on the CIS youngbloods, Forze did come in second during Blast Pro Moscow, but it was also Avangar who won that event.

I still think they are still too inexperienced and it is too early to be able to challenge a team like Mouz or EG that have been winning Major tournaments. Also, Forze’s opening match would be against EG, so it is most likely that they will be knocked down to the elimination matches. Their opponents on the decider matches will be a difficult one either way since it is going to be either Avangar or Mouz. If I were to bet, I would bet on Avangar or Mouz before I would wager on Forze.

Opening Match Picks

Forze vs. Evil Geniuses – Evil Geniuses

Avangar vs. Mousesports – Mousesports
